The auditory-verbal approach is an evidence-based, highly focused method for developing spoken language through listening for children who utilize cochlear implants, hearing aids, and other hearing assistive devices. It goes beyond simply teaching words and sounds—emphasizing deep, whole-child communication growth through consistent, intentional practice.
At Little Roars, this level of individualized and intensive support extends to all children working to build or strengthen their speech and language skills. Whether your child is developing foundational listening abilities, working through a speech delay, or refining expressive and receptive language, my therapy approach is always personalized, goal-driven, and rooted in proven methods like AVT.
The Specialized AVT Approach
